Only a handful of cards worth talking about this week.
Let's start with the foils for [mtg_card]Nim Deathmantle[/mtg_card], which skyrocketed to nearly 3x in price. I'm not too sure what happened here. It's a cool card, but the normal version didn't move an inch. I would guess someone wants it for Commander int his case, I just don't know why. Looking at the TCG Market Price, it's sitting at $6 with 4 copies with a $14-$20 price tag. This looks like a buyout to me. I just don't know why.
[mtg_card]Chancellor of the Annex[/mtg_card] is quite an interesting card that is being brought in as a pretty sick sideboard tech in Legacy Reanimator decks. The idea is that you can us it to lock your opponent out of T1 and even T2 plays. Now, does it deserve this sort of spike for Legacy play? Probably not. I'd sell my copies if you have any.
Now I can explain [mtg_card]Teferi, Temporal Archmage[/mtg_card] without looking. He's already a fairly popular card for Cube and Commander. But what he really fun with is [mtg_card]Atraxa, Praetors' Voice[/mtg_card] Superfriends deck in Commander. I do think he is a reprint risk in the next go around with Commander decks, but he should go up until then.
